When I add an existing dwg file into the project using navigator, and open the drawing, I dont get the data matrix or the d-tools menu. I try the dtshowmenu command and it acts like it does the command, but no menu or datamatrix. Thanks in advance for the help.
The "Add a file to this project" link does not take an exisiting file and make it "SI 5 linked". It simply copies the file to your project folder so you keep all files for a client in one place. For a .vsd or a .dwg to be "SI 5 linked", they must be created through our app using the "Create new Visio/AutoCAD drawing for this project" links.

That's an unforseen problem, since the goal of working with Autocad was to be able to use the same set of drawings as the architect, interior decorator, lighting designer etc.
