PDH

Our server crashed this last weekend. The last time we backed it up was a month ago. Not horrible. I know that projects are saved locally. I was looking through my hard drive and I saw the projects from last week. When we get our server back, will d-tools sync with my computer and bring those projects back? Or are they only partially saved on my desktop?

One more question. Is it possible in any way to work on projects without a server? I"m pretty sure the answer is no, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
