SI 4 Questions - D-Tools Forum

I downloaded the SI4 demo program and have a few questions;

1. The sample projects do not exist, is there a way to get a look at them?
2. What purpose does quicklinks serve?
3. How difficult is it to add a product line myself. I deal in a product that is not AV/Control related, Color Kinetics, but goes together in a similar method as network devices.
4. My primary sale item is lighting control, mainly Lutron [40% controls, 40% shades]. What benifits does D-Tools provide for me?

Sounds like you should call sales at 866.386.6571 x 1 and have a discussion with them. I would also suggest looking at all of the videos that shows how things work and what they are done for. I am sure someone can post a link to them here if you want.

D-Tools can benefit you a ton!

We have helped electrical contractors build D-Tools into their design process for lighting control installations, specifically Lutron.

Thanks for input, have spent a few days now playing with software package, and have had a few communcations via email with a sales rep. Software seems to work well as far as text and visio are conerned, have not tried it thru Autocad yet, not installed on pc demo is on.

Looks like D-Tools is on my 1st quarter purchase list, just need to allocate some funds for it.

Purchased and recieved software keys friday. Will be diving head first today a little then a lot on Monday.

Purchased Pro, biz manager, lan sync, and text license.
