AutoCAD Publish Command
"Publish" is a critical tool for efficient printing within AutoCAD.
I'm not sure if this should be considered a bug or if support for the Publish command is still forthcoming.
When I attempt to use the Publish command from AutoCAD '07, the following warning appears:
---------------------------
D-Tools SI 5 Projects
---------------------------
This project 'Test AutoCAD.dtl' is already open in another application. You must close that file before opening another file in the same project.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
After closing the dialog, the Publish command continues and seems to functin properly. Then when saving and closing the file, the following happens:
---------------------------
D-Tools SI 5 Projects
---------------------------
Error in Object: ConnectToShadowDatabase
Error Description: Could not find file 'C:\Documents and Settings\Kevin\Local Settings\Temp\BGPlot_4152\Test AutoCAD.mdb'.
Error Number:-2147467259
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
------------------------
D-Tools SI 5 Projects
---------------------------
Error in Object: SaveSI5Project
Error Description: The connection cannot be used to perform this operation. It is either closed or invalid in this context.
Error Number:3709
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
These errors are apparently in reference to the fact that AutoCAD opens a "hidden" version of the files in question located in "temp" folders.
