I use Scheduling to create work orders and Gantt work flow charts. Usually I create one summary task for each room/location, then tasks based on phase for each location. Then I create Work Orders based on those tasks. One work order per location and per phase. By doing that I have full control over all tasks finished and remaining for all rooms. (as long as the technicians report back to me). It is also a good quality control for them as they can see on the work order all tasks for that room (and that phase).
I work exclusively on commercial installations, usually with many rooms. Maybe there is other ways of doing it that works better for you, but if you start playing around with the tool you will soon get the hang of it and find your way.
BTW: Is that Zod in you avatar?
