Issues with Change Orders-
Radhe-
I hope I have understood your post correctly, here are answers to your questions:
1. Cant Create report w/both packages and equipment.
You can do this by selecting the items from the equipment list in the revision manager. Change the view to "Packages" and select the packages you would like to display in your change order.
From the Reports drop down choose click the "Change Order" option or the "by ..." option for your report ("By Location", "By Zone", etc).
The "Create Change Order" dialog will display the equipment you selected. You can view the packages you selected by changing the selection in the view drop down to "Packages."
2. Hiding Package Details.
You can create new reports to run in the Revision Manager via the reporting center. Change Orders are based on the proposal format. If you have updated to SP2, you can now hide the package details in the proposals.
Open the report designer. Create a new report in the report designer based on an existing proposal. Select the "List this report in buisness manager" option. Step through the rest of the wizard.
Once the wizard is complete, you can edit the look and feel of your report. To hide package details choose File>Edit Report Definitions. In the resulting dialog in the right side panel click the parameters tab. For the question, Summarize Packages? Choose "All". Click Apply.
Finally, choose File>Publish. This will make your new change order available in the revision manager. You will see it added to the list under the default "Change Order."
3. Duplication of Items in the Change order.
This is a bug, I am checking to see if it has been addressed and when it will be released. We are currently working on a bug release which will be available in the next few weeks. In the meantime, this can be worked around by navigating away from Buisness Manager and returning and reruning the revision manager. This will clear the duplicates. I will check our bug list to see if this issue has been solved. Thanks for your patience.
Lastly, I will check for, or construct a KB article which demonstrates the steps listed above.
Please let me know if this solves the problem.
