Default Project delta Wire label report issues

I've discovered an odd bug (or maybe feature):

I create a project, add all products, create a schematic and put my printers to work. Then I create a revision and heads off to the coffeemachine.

At the time of install the client wants some added features to the install. I open the drawing, do all changes and creates another revision. Then I go to the reports section and create a project delta as I want to print only the wire labels for the add-ons, not the whole project. The strangest thing happens: When the report shows up, I get all wire labels but the report also creates labels for all new component IDs. Strange thing and no coffee for me. What (if anything) am I doing wrong? I've tried to add a parameter to solve this (Run report with filters - CategoryType - Equal to - Wire) but that didn't change anything. Any ideas or any others experiencing the same issue?

I tested this by running the "Wire Labels By Head End" report on a current project revision and then on a delta (0 to 1). The original report has 4 pages of labels and the delta only has two pages. It seems like the report is accurate. It appears to be only showing labels for the items I added in Rev 1.
Make sure you are selecting the delta when you run the report. Make sure you are selecting the previous revision and then the current revision when you create the delta.

When you say

does this mean the original labels print plus labels for the additional wires?

The issue is that the report prints all added wires plus the component ID for all added products. See attachment.

Hi Christian,
I opened case C41336 for you regarding this. When I looked at your attachment, all of the ComponentIDs on the wire labels look like they could actually be from wire products, e.g. DAT-002, HDM-001. Without a copy of the project with all revisions, this will be difficult to troubleshoot. I will send you separate email asking for the project files.

I am wondering if this is just an issue of not running the report with the filter set to ChangeType = Added. There are certain reports that require the ChangeType filter in order to produce expected results when run against a Delta. This post shows the list of reports at the bottom.

After a bit more research I found that this is a bug and has been logged. I am working with our devo team now to find the best work around to be able to run wire reports for changes within a project and will post here.

Try changing the report filtering...
from: CategoryType Equal To WIRE
to: CategoryType Not Equal To EQUIPMENT And CategoryType Not Equal To LABOR And CategoryType Not Equal To SPEAKER.
This worked for me when run against a project delta using the "Wire Labels By Wire Number" as the starting point.
Actually I am incorrect. The behavior is identical (as expected) but I cannot replicate the error. Does this happen on more than one project?
