Default VMWare and Hamachi

Having problems using a Mac with VMWare running windows 7 with Hamachi as the VPN. Was working with some tweaky bugs, but now every time I try and connect to use orders and accounting I get errors and Dtools closes. Also starting to time out when checking projects in and out. Also tried installing Hamachi on the Mac side, but still no luck. Has anyone tried this?

I've been working with setting up our company's VPN for a while now. I set up a VPN with the Windows XP VPN and I can connect and ping back a forth, but as far as D-tools, I've been having the same issues that you speak of (Every time I try to check in or check out a project, D-tools locks up and I get an error).

That being said, I've heard that it is hard to transfer big files through small VPN tunnels (i.e. Hamachi, Windows XP, etc). We just purchased a VPN router which should do the job, I just haven't had much of a chance to mess with it yet.

Also, when speaking with D-tools tech support about this, their answer was basically that they don't have the knowledge nor the time to help me troubleshoot my VPN issue.
