Default aCad hooks

I think i've reported this before, but it's a royal pain and causes royal issues.

dTools should NOT override or disrupt standard autocad functions. most notably:
  • double-clicking (even on non-dTools blocks)
  • the undo stack
  • context menus
double-clicking
the dTools double click should be disengaged all together. if i really want to get into the product data i can use the context menu's dtools > edit.

undo stack
redo does not work with dTools running. im sure autoDesk worked long and hard for the undo/redo functionality and i would like to use it.

context menus
review the image below. what should happen when i right click a table is on the left. what happens when i right-click a table in a dTools drawing is on the right. all the table specific context menu items are GONE. this happens for other aCad objects as well. the list of affected objects does not matter, dTools should not remove normal aCad context menu items UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

can this get fixed soon? help us out here vic

it is because of this sort of whcky functionality that I am stuck using Visio.
I might not like it but I know what to expect.
Pretty much every time I attempt to use AutoCAD I run into weird "features" that I can't work with...

Leaving standard functionality alone and only adding D-Tools commands/menus is important. I've been using AutoCAD for 20 years and I like it the way I like it.
Don't make me bust out with some Lisp to kick D-Tools into shape. That will really ruin my day!

Richards,

We are investigating what causes these issues, and soon they will be address.
