1) Add Product A to a project.
2) Accessories list pops up, de-select ALL Accessories
3) Product A is added to the PDM along with Product X that was not in the accessory list and has northing to do the product.

I studied the Accessories table and the MasterTable and can see no apparent relationship between Product A and Product X. In fact Product X is not listed as a parent or as an Accessory.

This behavior is happening on multiple workstations with multiple products.

I copied the database and loaded on my home computer, but could not duplicate the behavior for Product A above.

At first I thought I was dealing with an Accessory that was set to not Prompt the user, but that was NOT the case.

What could be causing additional random Products to be added to the PDM?

wow, that's weird.
is there anything distinct about ProductX? could it have been an accessory to Product A at any point? is it discontinued?

this sounds like a potentially hazardous bug. good luck.

The same thing was happening to me. I noticed that the product window and the manufacturer window respond differently to a mouse click.

In the manufacturer window it takes 2 mouse clicks (1 to activate the window and 1 to select the product), however, in the product window just one mouse click will select a product.

I was extremely confused by this as products I have never even heard of were making it into my PDM, but it was because I was clicking on the product box to activate that window so I could scroll down and every time I did that it added whichever product I clicked on to activate that window.
