Default Comments and Head End

I don't seem to be able to set the head ends for wires that are
accessories any more. In the text listing, if I click in the head end
field, the drop-down arrow appears but no options are available. For
wires (and other items) that aren't accessories, the list of all of the
head ends I've entered appears.

Is there any other way to set this? Enabling the prompt does allow new items with wire accessories to be assigned head ends, but they can't be changed or added after the fact.

I also don't seem to be able to put any information under Comments for items in a package unless I specify that equipment in
the package can be in a different location and zone, or for accessories at all.

These are both pretty important to our workflow, so what's going on?

Edited to add: "Comments" is the name assigned to CustomProperty2.

I shut down SI5 for lunch and a meeting, came back, and now everything is working the way it should. Never mind.
