Hi David,
You need to modify the master shape to prevent display of Component ID and model on the shape. The D-Tools code will automatically populate the Model and ComponentID into the prop.Model and prop.ComponentID cells in the shape if it finds these cells. You can rename these cells in the master shape and D-Tools will not find these cells and nothing will appear on the shape.
Follow these steps to modify the shape: -
1. Open the Visio stencil file containing this shape. (Default folder for D-Tools stencils is “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users \Application Data\D-Tools\SI5\Visualizations\Stencils” for Windows XP and “C:\ProgramData\D-Tools\SI5\Visualizations\Stencils” for Vista).
2. Double click the master shape to open the master shape for editing.
3. Select the master shape on the drawing page and click Window-> Show Shapesheet from the main menu.
4. In the shape sheet, scroll down to the “Shape Data” section. Here you will see a row with the cell name “Prop.ComponentID”. Change this cell name to ComponentID1. In the “Value” column for this row, change the cell value to blank. You will find another row with the cell name Prop.Model in the same section. Change the cell name to Model1. In the “Value” column for this row, change the cell value to blank.( as shown below)

5. Close the Shape sheet and then close the master shape. Update the master shape. Save the stencil file.
The next time you use this master shape no text should show up. Let me know if this works fine.
