Default Custom Reports not Importing

I recently edited a report, and attempted to have a coworker Import the report into their D-tools. Apparently the function for importing is not working at all. Even though you go and choose the "import report" button, open the file location, select the zip file, the page refreshes, but the report is not shown in the window at all. Previously it showed up in "uncategorized reports", then we renamed it and stuck it in our frequently used report items. It was still not available after logging off and logging back in, which in the old version of D-tools usually did the trick.

Also, while attempting to edit the report itself, I was trying to correct a spelling error. The report "Contract" pulls information about the job phases directly from the company information. I corrected the spelling on one of the phases (finsh to finish), however it did not refresh in the report either. It still pulls "finsh" as if it's pulling from the old information rather than the new edited Company info. Is there any way to refresh this? Any idea why it is not importing the new information into D-tools?

Please respond ASAP, this completely defeats the purpose of editing things. Thanks!

Custom report Importing –
There is known bug (#5766) relating to importing custom reports we are aware of. These are steps to reproduce: -
  1. Create a custom report within a custom report category
  2. Export the report to .zip file
  3. Go to another machine
  4. Import the .zip file
  5. This custom Report is listed in "Unassigned".
  6. Re-import the .zip file. The report disappears.

This bug will be fixed in an upcoming service pack.

These steps will work correctly now –
  1. Create a custom report on your machine (do not create in a custom report category – use one of the standard built in categories)
  2. Export the report
  3. Ask your coworker to import this report
  4. The report should appear correctly

Contract Report –

How did you rename the Phase?
Did you rename phase within the project or in Navigator. In Navigator phases can be renamed on the Setup tab – this change applies to the MasterTable and will impact only new projects and not existing projects.

Make sure you rename the phase within the projects UI.
  1. Open project in Text
  2. Click D-Tools | Options
  3. Click Add Phase
  4. In Phases in Project select Phase and click Rename
  5. Save Project and Run Report (reports run only of data which is saved)

Hope it helps.
