Project no longer displaying HeadEnd Dialog nor calculating Install price on Wires - D-Tools Forum

Created new project. Added package which has been used several times. Now the the HeadEnd dialog box does not appear and the install price is nil UNTIL I manually Edit the wire and Cable entry and view the Installed button.

The only thing different is I am using a fesh install of SI5.5 on a new PC.

Note: cable is assigned to a Head End

Weird.

Hickmott,

If you add Rough Wire to a package the wire length and headnend are part of the package definition itself. So when you add this package to a project it will not prompt you for the headend or wire length since it is already defined in the package.

The other issue where the install price is nil and calculates once you click the Install Price button looks like a bug. However I could not replicate this. If possible can you include a screen shot of the problem package here in the forum?
