Default Visio Error 1416: Drawing Not Saved.

I just lost about an hour worth of work (I know, save, save, save).

Trying to save my Visio plan and received this error:

An Error (1416) occurred during the Exit Application.
Not enough memory ...

Similar error received on Ctrl+S or Save icon.

Then opened D-Tools > Project Information > attempted to close:

An unknown exception has been encountered:
Object reference not set to instance of an object.
at DTools.SystemIntegrator.Visio.SIDrawing.HandleMenu Clicks(StringMenuTag)

was able to close window and program but work was lost.

Same error for me. I didn't close the document so I haven't lost it, but I can't save it.

Did anything come of this? I have the same issue whilst trying to utilise a PDF as my background.

I don't know if this has gotten any better, however issues like this with Visio happen from time to time. We do not use PDFs due to this issue a few years ago, it has just become a habit now. If all we are given is a PDF we would convert the PDF to a JPG image to eleminate the problem.

Like I said this may not be an issue anymore but we still have the same process
