Created a word doc for note taking related to a project, Added file to the project, Opened the project in SI text, Tried to open the word doc, and get a Pop-up window stating that the project is already open in another window.

Seems like i should be able to open any docs that aren't tied to the project data matrix while an instance of the PDM is open. (i.e. in SI text, autoCad, or Visio)

on a Side note – I can open the word doc and THEN open SI text with no problems

We're already working on this one for the next release.
