Default Update Labour rates AFTER project created = PROBLEM

Not sure if this is by Design or is a Bug BUT

If you change Labour rates in the Setup after a project has been created, each project item continues to use the old rates and there does not appear to be a way of forcing a refresh.

Not sure if this happens to the pre-configured phases but it certainly happens to phases which have been created manually.

Is this a bug or is this how it is supposed to work?

For future reference, this is not a bug, it is done by the design.

New projects use the labor calculations/settings that you currently have under the SETUP tab. If you make changes to those labor calculations in the SETUP tab existing proposals will not be updated with the new settings.

This is to preserve the settings you originally had as that is what you billed the job as. If you wish to update those settings on an existing project simply open the proposal in Estimator (text), click on the D-Tools menu and select Options > Phases, now select the phase you wish to update to match your Setup settings and click the RESTORE DEFAULT icon on the right.

If you want to update ALL phases instead of one by one click on the GENERAL tab in that same window and click on RESTORE DEFAULT OPTIONS.
