I recently imported a 4.5 file into 5.1 all went well, I then created a revision to this particular file and added/changed product and all was fine. Went to revisit this file a week later and add some additional product and now can not open in text to add additional product, d-tools indicates that this file is read only and no changes can be made. Why is this happening and what do I need to do reverse this issue?

If I understand correctly you are trying to edit a revision file. Revisions of a project are a snapshot in time of a project and cannot be edited – only the current version of a project can be edited. However, a project revision can be promoted to be the active version of a project.
