I've re-installed D-tools and I'm getting an XML error now when I open the client. This is the error that I'm getting.

Hi I've recently re-installed my server and client on my computer. I keep getting an error when I open d-tools now. This is what it is:

All I want to do is remove every trace of any d-tools and re-install fresh and clean. And re-installing windows is not an option lol as I've seen some people suggest. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't get my clients proposals or work orders now.

Looks like you may have a corrupt report data file. Try this:

1. Exit all SI 5 applications.
2. Open the folder: C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\D-Tools\SI5\Reports
2. Rename the ReportData.XML file to ReportData.old
3. Rename the ReportData.BAK file to ReportData.XML

Starting Navigator.

D-Tools Tech support just got back to me and it worked great. I'm posting for any one else with the issue.


This is what I was told to do

Close SI5 Navigator

Open - C:/Users/Cliff/AppData/Roaming/D-Tools/SI5/Reports

And delete the file - ReportData.XML

Restart SI5 Navigator

The file path is at the bottom of the error. You have to use the file path your error says.
