Hi,

On attempting to re-install SI5 (after removing it with control panel add/remove programs) I receive the following error:

An error occured while attempting to install client components.

Can someone please advise what's wrong?

If you originally installed from a CD then you need to make sure the CD is in the drive before you reinstall.
