Not necessarily a bug... but something that made me wondering if it was until I tested it.

When working on a project, if you preview a report and realize the wrong logo is selected, close the reports (leave the project open or close it), and attempt to change the company logo on the setup page, it will not update.

I needed to close the program and change the logo. You can also change the logo with a project open, but it seems that when the report function is ran, the logo is "frozen".


We have two logos, a square and a rectangular version. I use the square on the drawings, rectangular on reports.

I was able to duplicate the behavior you describe. I will pass this on to the development team. You may be able to set up a Visio background template with the alternate Logo, so that you would not have to switch. Maybe one of the Visio gurus could give you a pointer in the right direction.

Yes... that is what I did.

In fact, I made a mistake and choose the wrong logo to start. I wasn't sure were the logo was being used (ie.. visio templates, reports, elsewhere.)

I don't see the need to switch logos often, but I figured I'd throw it out there incase someone else runs into the same deal.

You can change the logo by closing NAV, reopening and edting the logo in the Setup. The logo cannot be changed during a session of NAV. We will provide this capability in a future release. Thanks, Brad
