sdsteve, I recommend that you make backups of the entire stencil directory before you make any modification. There are two locations to choose from:
1.) your machine
2.) the server
If you edit the stencils on you machine D-Tools will overwrite them the next time you lan sync however if you edit the ones on the server, the next person to lansync will get the new block whether or not you wanted them to.
On Windows XP (local machine) I believe the path is \documents and settings\all users\program data\D-Tools\SI5\Visualizations
Windows 7 is ProgramData\D-Tools\SI5\visualizations
The server is \\(your D-tools server name)\DToolsV5ProductShare\Visualizations
Just be careful, I would start by editing block locally and then when you are certain they work correctly copy them to the server.
