Using D-Tools SI5 in Australia
Hi there guys,
After using D-Tools for a number of years from SI2 through to SI4 we upgraded to SI5 as soon as it was available. After several months of continuing to use SI4 and working around the SI5 bugs we are now using SI5 exclusively.
Our set-up is unique and took some time and patience to get it right. We have multiple SI5 licenses and LANSync to our own server which is remotely accessed with a VPN connection.
To makes matters more complex and challenging we use a combination of Windows desktop PCs and Apple iMacs & MacBooks (Intel) all networked together. D-Tools runs very nicely (and reliably) on a Mac using Parallels with a (very) clean Windows XP Pro OS.
I'm interested in knowing how my Aussie collegues are using D-Tools and the experiences you've had using it. We can all learn from our local experiences.
