An unexpected error was discovered today which impacted our international customers’ ability to successfully complete the upgrade. In order to ensure the highest level of quality and support, the D-Tools team has decided to temporarily postpone the release of SI5.5 for all customers. The development team will be working around the clock to resolve and test this issue in order to meet our objective of releasing the upgrade with in the next 24-48 hours. Please check back to this post for updated information. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, and appreciate your patience while we work to ensure this upgrade is the best possible.

It seems like "the international customers" is left out every time. There is always issues with "the international customers". Also this time. When upgrading we got some error messages mentioning character sets in the sql DB!
