Reinstalled Lansync server with the "overwrite database" option
Moved all previously checked out (including all archived projects) to a new folder on my local machine
Opened up D-tools on the local machine
Copied product database and project defaults up to server
Imported each and every project from the "moved" local folder, then checked them into the server one at a time
Went to each workstation where D-Tools is installed and emptied the SI5 projects folder before reconnecting
A very tedious process, but it worked! If I'd had a few hundred projects to deal with, this would have been unmanageable. I hope you guys get this procedure sorted out. I could not get it to work no matter how many times I tried.

I to followed the instructions and if it were not for your post I would still be scratching my head. What project defaults do I need to copy to the new server?
The restore database feature in LanSync does not seem to work and if you depend on it for recovery I would take other measures.
D-Tools please streamline this process or update the document on moving the server. Makes me wonder if I am missing any information such as labor rates, company logos, etc. I guess I will find out when I create my next project.
