I am able from a remote PC make a “new connection” by using the wizard from MS Windows for VPN connections. I then connect using the new connection shortcut from the desktop and I am able to connect to server. On the remote PC I go to “All Programs” then “Search” type in the IP address of the server then I see all the share folders.
A name not IP address is enter for the name of the server.
I have XP Pro on the server ( Peer to Peer )

Give the server a dedicated IP address (let me know if you need more instructions) and then direct the SI5 installation to the IP ADDRESS rather than the hostname of the server.
