567: Improved product data import
Improved UI that includes import data preview and ability to import D-Tools Manufacturer Pricing Import (DMPI) files.
605: Improved Automatic Update service
New and simplified software update service notifies you of D-Tools software updates and allows you to control when to check for updates.
354: Printing Wire Labels with on a Brother Label Printer
Laminated wire labels can now be printed on a Brother P-touch label printer.
61: Ability for user to define staff types
Users can now modify the default staff type names.
255: Include manufacturer stencils when downloading data
When downloading product data and the manufacturer data you are downloading has associated Visio stencils then you are prompted to download stencils once the data download is complete. This eliminates the need to download and install stencils files via the software updates dialog.
301: Add a save button to each of the five steps in the new project setup
The new project wizard in the Navigator now has a Finish button on each step. This allows you to quickly start a new project without having to go thru all five wizard screens.
258: Sample files do not show up in the Navigator list.
This has been corrected if sample files are installed. Sample files are now available as a separate install to minimize the download times.
425: Word wrap or font change needed on WalkThru_Avery5263 report
When printing the WalkThruAvery5263 report, the location field and manufacturer fields sometimes contained more information than fits. These fields have been expanded.
572: Work order lost data
In some cases work order data was being lost when a project was checked in. This has been corrected.
543: Refresh only single project row on close of project
When a project was closed the Navigator list was refreshed. This was taking some time on with a large number of local projects. Now only the project row that was edited is refreshed.
544: Business Manager checks in unsaved project data
In some cases data was being updated even if the user closes a project without saving changes. This has been corrected.
533: Component IDs in Visio drawing no longer match those in the data matrix
Previously changing the Component ID format caused all components in the drawing to be renumbered. Now, by default existing components are not renumbered. Users have the option to update existing components using the Recalculate button on the Customize Project Component ID Format dialog.
582: Descriptions in PO report is Truncated
The description for products in a "Management\PO by manufacturer" report is limited to two lines of text. This is true for the "Page Wise" PO report under Management as well. These have been modified to show the full description of the items in the PO.
504: Archiving / Restoring a 4.0x project that is already saved on the server
If you archived a project on the server in a 4.0x format you could not restore that project. This has been corrected. You must now open and convert the project to 4.5 before archiving.
520: Middle Atlantic shapes not dropping in Visio when assigned to an item being used as an Accessory
Some Middle Atlantic shapes were not being automatically dropped when used as accessories. This has been corrected.
416: Phase rates and tax rates Zeroed out in a project
Some project information was lost if a network connection lost during a check-in operation. Now if the network connection is lost during a check-in all project information on the server is rolled back to its previous state and changes are preserved locally.
613: Category Change Issue
If you change a product's category and it is attached to another product as a accessory it did not change and still showed the original category which causes error when adding the parent product into a project. This has been corrected.
599: Project hours in PDM don’t match reports
In some cases labor items in a package with "Ignore Labor" checked and "Use the labor cost and selling price based on phase" checked did not calculate Design and Mgt hrs in reports and include the costs in the report totals. This has been corrected.
602: Phases losing their values in Projects
Some project information was lost if a network connection lost during a save operation. Now if the network connection is lost during a save all project information is rolled back to its previous state.
603: LANSync hangs while synchronizing
LANSync appeared to hang when you activate another window and then came back to LANSync during an update. This was a screen refresh problem and has been corrected.
653: Crystal Lists Item Multiple Times When Grouped By Category
The Line Item List Price and Line Item Installed Price reports were showing duplicate items when the project included a parent product with accessories and parent product had accessories summarized and the report was grouped by category. This has been corrected.
529: Discontinued Problem when Dropping Shape
When adding an item to a project there is now a column in the item list that displays a red "X" icon to indicate that an item is discontinued.
617: Insert system Issue
When using Insert System to import Project Information the client name was changed. This caused an issue when archiving the project. This has been corrected.
604: Sum of payments does not match contract price
In some cases the sum of the payments was off by one cent from the contract price. This has been corrected.
646: Change Order reports incorrect on SI v3 to v4.53 conversion
When converting a project file from v3.x file to v4.5 the change order file was not being converted causing incorrect comparison. Now when v3.x file is opened for change order comparision it is converted to v4.5.
647: Change Order won't open after converting to 4.5
Older version change orders can be opened read only.
